Omaha Love

I do love visiting Omaha.  Mostly because Kristen lives there, but also because I really like the feel of the city.  It's totally different than Chicago - it kind of feels like a suburb actually, but I love it.  Everything is nice and new and clean and there are tons of restaurants.  This weekend, Mary, Kristin, and I ate our way through a majoring of Omaha.  If I had to guess I'd say 5/8 of Omaha.

Enjoy a few pictures of our eating adventures:

The pedestrian bridge crosses from Nebraska into Iowa.
Although we were hesitant, we stepped across that line and even hovered between both states for a minute.

The journey to this famed bridge was rocky and long,
but we made it over the fence and across the tracks without too much trouble.
After this strenuous trip, we certainly earned our supper.

Mary and Kristen relaxing at the Urban Wine Company.
Two bottles and a cheese plate made us very happy ladies
and got us dreaming for NAPA 2012!

Next up was Margarita's and dinner at Rivera's.
Sarah Van Putten led the way and filled us in about life as a nursing student and aunt to be!

We got to visit with Jeff and Amy Van Putten during Happy Hour at Hiro.
MMMM sushi and martini's!

Another great trip to Omaha.
Thanks to your hospitality in your brand new apartment, Kristen!
