Omaha, NE

Even before we got to Omaha, our trip was a success. Halfway through the trip, we stopped at the outlet mall in Williamsburg, Iowa and got some good finds. This was also the point at which we called KVP to let her know when we would be arriving - in only 4 short hours.

On Friday, we were on the road at 4:30am and arrived in Omaha around 3:00pm. After getting settled at the hotel and a delicious dinner at the Van Putten's, we hit the town! We started with Jagerbombs and Pond Scum at Billy Frog's, then headed to the tequila bar Eat the Worm for margaritas. After being awake for about 23hours, it felt like the longest day of our lives.

I have no clue

On Saturday, we walked around downtown Omaha and shopped a little bit in the Old Market. These slides are outside by the mall (think east coast mall, not shopping) and started our morning on the right foot even though we were so sick and tired. Saturday was a little bit cold, but the sun felt so good as we walked around. After shopping, we took a nap at the hotel, then had dinner at Roja (where Miss Nebraska and Bo were also eating dinner) and ended the evening in front of Saturday Night Live.
On Sunday, we went to church, had lunch at the VP's, and got back on the road.
It was a short trip and an exhausting trip, but we had a great time with Kristen! Thanks for dealing with us!!!
