Today, Kiera, Kristen, Sarah, and I saw a movie at the Pickwick in Park Ridge. As you can see in the picture, the theater is pretty old and pretty big. It's not a multiplex with a million different theaters inside, but it does have a huge one. The largest theater in the northwest suburbs! It's also really charming and old-fashioned which is a fun way to see a movie. And before 6pm it's only $5.
I went to K-8th grade in Park Ridge and went to the Pickwick from time to time, but apparently I forgot about the cheap prices and the fun atmosphere.
We saw Leap Year which was ok, but definitely not my new favorite movie.
it was a great theater!! even if the movie won't be nominated for an oscar.
