This weekend, I have been a baking fanatic!
I made Scandinavian Almond cake, cakey chocolate chip cookies, and iced oatmeal applesauce cookies. I spent four hours baking on Saturday and another almost two today! Everything turned out really well too. The icing on the oatmeal applesauce cookies wasn't perfect, but I'm dealing with that :) The almond cake got eaten last night after our adventures in Lincoln Square, but the cookies are being taken to work on Monday for a going away party.
