Tonight I went back to the world of high school to watch my two youngest siblings at their basketball games. Matt is a freshman, but got to play on the JV team tonight because one of the boys wasn't able to be at the game. He played really well, stayed in for most of the game, made a three pointer, and 5 out of his 6 free throws. He was so excited when they announced that he was the leading scorer for the team! Take that sophomores! Greta is a varsity cheerleader, so we stayed for their game too and they won 73 to 77. It was stressful until the last possible second, but Greta was on the sidelines laughing and cheerful the whole time :)
I'm so glad my siblings followed in my athletic footprints. HA!
After the games, we stopped at Arby's before heading home. Matt told my dad he'd eat it but he wouldn't be happy about it and dad replied "then eat it with your frowny face on." My family makes me laugh.
