A quote from a funeral my mom attended in Oak Park.

I saw my mom yesterday morning after what seemed like ages apart.
In reality it had only been a little over a month.
I didn't see her this year on Mother's Day for the first time ever.
It made me really sad, but also felt grown up.

Anyways, as we were eating breakfast at Tre Kronor, she shared a quote with me from a funeral she had gone to the day before.
It surprised me because I loved the quote and I never considered that the same words could touch both my mom and I.
Which also made me feel grown up.

Love is not defined by the easy stuff. Simple, true, and meaningful in more than one way.
