Patience

The thing that I say over and over when I'm babysitting is "be patient". It blows my mind that a kid can't wait 5 minutes between when I say they can have a snack and when the snack is on the table. But then I thought about it...I am not very good at being patient. Especially in the face of uncertainty, I stink at waiting patiently too.

But, I think I'm realizing that uncertainty can be fun and in most cases, the outcome is worth the wait.
